What happens when you mix music, movement, mindfulness, and a whole lot of heart? You get Tribe Fest—a grassroots festival that’s more than just a weekend event. It’s a lifestyle, a vibe, and a growing community.
We caught up with Tribe Fest founder Rebecca, soulful songstress Kat Hall, and Jacob from AKiVA the Band, while they were mid-retreat in Costa Rica, soaking in jungle views, yoga flows, and deep convos. And even from a world away, they were already buzzing about the next big thing: Tribe Fest Florida.
A Festival with Heart (and Intention)
Tribe Fest isn’t just about live music—it’s about bringing people together from all walks of life, creating safe spaces to be real, connect deeply, and grow. “It’s not just a festival,” Rebecca says. “It’s a container—a space where the right people show up.”
What started in 2023 as a Chicago-based fundraiser for Rebecca’s clothing brand Ragtribe has now grown into a multi-city experience that blends conscious culture, local artistry, wellness, and serious good vibes. After Chicago, the fest traveled to Tampa, Denver, San Diego—and now it’s circling back for a full Florida takeover.
The Florida Lineup: Music, Mindfulness, and More
April 24 – Reggae Nights in the Park with Kat Hall - Tribe Fest Pre-Party
Kat Hall returns to Centennial Park for a special live looping set from 7 to 9 p.m. “I’m so excited to be back,” she says. Last time was incredible—we knew we had to do it again.
April 25 – Tribe Fest Miami
Tribe Fest pops up at Flow State Studios, a hybrid yoga-performance-creative space. Expect music from Akiva the Band, Earth Strong, Soul Plant (flying in from San Diego), and the local legends The Chili Guys. There won’t be mat-based yoga this time, but as Rebecca puts it: “Yoga is a mindset—it’s a way of life.”
April 26–27 – Tribe Fest Tampa ft Inna Vision and Nattali Rize
For the second year running, Tribe Fest takes over 1920 Ybor, a vibrant outdoor venue with real-deal historic charm (and wild chickens, if you know Ybor). The weekend includes performances by Inna Vision, Kat Hall, Trev Mental, DJ Unity Sound, and more. Plus: art vendors, vegan food, wellness workshops, and even a reggae-asana yoga flow.
What Fuels Tribe Fest?
It’s not just the artists or the workshops—it’s the mission. “When you find your Dharma, you move differently,” Rebecca says. “It’s about creating spaces where people can heal, share, and express themselves. That’s what keeps me going.”
And it shows. Tribe Fest is equal parts concert, community gathering, and wellness sanctuary—with a touch of DIY spirit and a whole lot of soul.
Costa Rica Roots, Florida Vibes
As the crew reflected on their time in Costa Rica—hosting a yoga retreat, unplugging from the grind, and reconnecting with their “why”—one theme kept coming up: balance. Whether it’s through morning stretches, deep convos, or simply slowing down, Tribe Fest carries that same intention wherever it goes.
