Kevin Offitzer takes the stage at the Tiki Bar at The Lighthouse Island Resort in Fort Myers Beach on Friday, July 19, delivering the signature rhythm and energy that fans of Stick Figure know and love—this time performing with the band Off the Road.
As the longtime drummer for Stick Figure, Kevin tours across the U.S. and internationally, playing sold-out shows and major music festivals. In 2019, the band’s show at Red Rocks Amphitheater sold out four months in advance—one of many milestones that highlight Kevin’s role in shaping the band’s sound.
A Journey Built on Passion and Precision
Originally from San Pedro, California, Kevin begins his music journey on the piano at age five before discovering his passion for drums. Under the mentorship of jazz and world music educator Jeanette Wrate Kangas, he becomes a skilled and versatile player. He later earns a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.
Today, Kevin’s style blends technical mastery with stage presence, powering one of the most recognized bands in the reggae rock scene. He now brings that same energy and precision to Off the Road, a group that reflects his continued passion for live music.
More Than a Performer
Kevin is also a dedicated drum instructor. Since 2010, he has taught lessons on tour and from his home studio. He’s the founder of Backstage Music Lessons, a platform that connects fans with their favorite musicians for one-on-one learning experiences—no matter their age or skill level.
In addition to touring and teaching, Kevin records in the studio for solo artists, television soundtracks, and film scores.
